Setup steps

Before you begin

For the person who can change settings in the named platform.

Who does what

Someone with access to the intended Apple Ads groups finds the IDs. You map them to each app in setup.

What to have ready

  • Sign-in access to Apple Ads and the intended campaign groups.
  • The apps and groups you intend to associate in setup.
  1. Open the group menu

Sign in to Apple Ads and click the current campaign group name at the top left. Locate each intended group and copy its ID.

  2. Find additional groups

If the account has eight or more groups, use the menu's search field to find a name or ID. Add each unique intended ID to setup, separated by commas.

  3. Match the authorization scope

Select the requested groups during Apple authorization. After returning, compare the connection's group IDs, names and permissions with your requested scope.

Confirm completion and next steps

What to check

  • The copied IDs match the intended groups, not your workspace ID.
  • The authorized groups match the groups assigned to each app in setup.

What happens next

For your own account, continue with the BrightLake Apple Ads user invitation and your per-app attribution choices in the original setup tab.
